A.MEDICATIONS FOR INFECTIONS IN THE BLOOD + ENT

1.GRAMOCEF-O/SYRUP

Cefixime 200/400mg capsules 

Cefixime 100mg/5ml syrup

Indications:

Airway infections 

Sexual transmitted infections

Infections in ears, throat, tonsils and urinary tract

Contraindications:

Patient known to have allergy to cephalosporin  group

Not contraindicated in pregnancy. Consult your Doctor before use 

Dosage/How to use:

Tablets:

Adults & Children > 10 years: 200mg-400mg daily.

Syrup:

Children<10 years: 4mg/kg daily.


2.GRAMOCEF-CV

Cefixime 200mg + Clavulanic acid 125mg tablets 

Indications:

Airway infections 

Sexual transmitted infections

Infections in ears, throat, tonsils and urinary tract

Contraindications:

Patient known to have allergy to cephalosporin  group

Not recommended in pregnancy. Consult your Doctor before use 

Dosage/How to use:

Tablets:

Adults & Children > 10 years: one tablet  daily.

You may consult your Doctor for adjustment.


3.ORNILOX

Ornidazole 500mg + ofloxacin 200mg

Indications:

Airway infections 

Sexual transmitted infections

Infections in ears, throat, tonsils and urinary tract

Contraindications:

Patient known to have allergy to cephalosporin  group

Not recommended in pregnancy and breastfeeding. Consult your Doctor before use 

Dosage/How to use:

Tablets:

Adults : one tablet  twice daily.

You may consult your Doctor for adjustment.


4.BACTOCLAV 625

Amoxicillin 250mg+ Clavulanic acid 62.5mg

Indications:

Airway infections 

Sexual transmitted infections

Infections in ears, throat, tonsils and urinary tract

Contraindications:

Not recommended in pregnancy and breastfeeding. Consult your Doctor before use 

Dosage/How to use:

Tablets:

Adults : one tablet  thrice daily.

You may consult your Doctor for adjustment.


5. PULMOCEF

Cefuroxime axetil 250/500mg 

Indications:

Airway infections 

Sexual transmitted infections

Infections in ears, throat, tonsils and urinary tract

Contraindications:

Patient known to have allergy to cephalosporin  group

Not contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding. Consult your Doctor before use 

Dosage/How to use:

Tablets:

Adults : one tablet twice daily for 7 to 10 days.

You may consult your Doctor for adjustment.
