1. ASCORIL SYRUP

Ascoril LS syrup is used to treat coughs with mucus 

Contraindications:

Pregnant women and Breastfeeding
Allergy to medication

Side effects:
  • Vomiting, Nausea, Dizziness, Headache, Drowsiness, Sweating, Muscle cramps, Constipation.
Dosage/How to use:

Adult: 10 ml  two times a day for 5-7 days

Children:
Best for children above 2 years
2-12 years 5-10 ml(1-2 teaspoonful) to be taken thrice daily 

2. VIFEX SYRUP

Vifex syrup is used to treat whooping cough
Contraindications:
  • Hypersensitivity to the active substance
  • Pregnant women and breastfeeding
Side effects:
  • Tachycardia
Dosage/How to use:

Adult:10 ml (2 teaspoonfuls) to be taken thrice daily.

children:6-12 years 5-10 ml(1-2 teaspoonful) to be taken thrice daily and children below 6 years are 5 ml (1 teaspoonful) to be taken thrice daily.

3. EUGICA COFF

Herbal lozenges with menthol flavor.
Eucalyptol, Menthol, Ginger oil, Cinnamon oil, Coleus aromaticus oil
Indication:
  • Cough reliever
  • Use with caution in pregnancy and lactation
Contraindications:
Not contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding, But consult your Doctor first before use

Dosage/How to use:

Adults and children above 6 years Can use Eugica as many times daily.

Note: Do not exceed a maximum dose of 20 tablets per day as required.


4. BRONQUIDIAZINA C.R

Triple action:

Mucolytic: Due to bromhexine
Anti-infections: Due to Cotrimoxazole
Expectorant: Due to the double action of bromhexine and sodium benzoate
Indication:
  • Cough reliever
Contraindications:

Pregnant women and Breastfeeding

Dosage/How to use:

Adults:7.5 ml 3 times a day 
Children>2 years: 2.5 ml 3 times a day 


5. SEKROL SYRUP

Ambroxol 

Indication:
  • Mycolitic and Expectorant
Contraindications:
Not contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding, But consult your Doctor first before use


Dosage/How to use:

Adults and Children > 12 year:5-10 ml 2 times a day 
Children >2 years: 5ml two times daily
Children 0-2 years: 2.5ml two times daily


6. CODEINE TAB

Codein

Indication:
  • Cough supressant 
Contraindications:

Pregnant women and Breastfeeding

Dosage/How to use:

Adults: 1 to 2 tablets 4 times daily.

7. NEOCODION TAB/SYRUP

Codein camphosulfonate 25mg+soit codeine 14,93mg,grindelia 17mg+sulfogaiacol 100mg

Indication:
  • Cough supressant 
Contraindications:

Pregnant women and Breastfeeding

Dosage/How to use:

Adults: 1 tablet 3 to 4 times daily.
Children> 3 months: 5ml 2 to 3 times daily

8. BRONCALENE SYRUP

Chlorphenylamine+Pholcodine

Indication:
  • Cough supressant 
Contraindications:
Not contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding, But consult your Doctor first before use


Dosage/How to use:

Adults: 10 ml 1 to 6 times daily
Children 8-15 years: 10 ml 1 to 3 times daily
Children  3-7 years: 5 ml 1 to 4 times daily

9. EASCOF SYRUP

Salbutamol sulphate, Bromhexine hydrocloride, Guaifenesin, Methol syrup

Indication:
  • Mycolitic and Expectorant
Contraindications:
Not recommended in pregnancy and breastfeeding, But consult your Doctor first before use


Dosage/How to use:

Adults:10-20 ml  thrice a day 
Children 6-12 years: 10ml thrice daily
Children below 6 years: 5-10ml two times daily
