1. INTETRIX

Tiliquinol 50 mg  + Tilbroquinol 200mg

Indications:

Antamoeba intestinalis for adults

Contraindication:

Breastfeeding and pregnant women

2. STERAZOLE SYRUP

Metronidazole 125mg/5ml

3. UNIGENTYL TABLET

Secnidazole 500 mg 

Indications:

Entamoeba for adults and Adolescents, Giardiasis

Dosage/How to use:

H-PYLORI:

Adults: 1 tablet two times per day. 

Add omeprazole 20 mg and clarithromycin 250 to avoid gastritis and h-pylori.

INTESTINAL AMOEBIASIS:

Adults: 2 g daily for 2 to 3 days.

Children: 50-60mg/kg daily for 3 days.

Secnidazole 1g

Indications:

5. ENTAMIZOLE TABLET/SYRUP

Diloxanide + metronidazole

Available in different coated form(250/200mg, 500/400mg,syrup)

Indications:

Entamoeba and giardiasis for adults and children

Breastfeeding and pregnant women in the first trimester

Side effects:

Nausea, Vomiting, Headache, Stomach pain, Heartburn

Dosage/How to use:

Tablets:

Adults and Adolescents: 1 tablet three times per day for 5 days. 

Syrup:

Children>12 years: 10 ml three times a day for 5 days

Children 5-12 years: 5 ml three times a day for 5 days

Children <5 years: 2.5 ml three times a day for 5 days.

6. FLAGYL 4% SYRUP

Metronidazole 4% 120ml

Children 5-12 years: 5 ml three times a day for 5 days

Saccharomyces boulardi ,100mg

Indications:

Yeast related Diarrhea & abdominal pain

8. UNIBROL TAB/SYRUP

Aminosidine 250mg /tablet and Aminosidine 125mg/5ml

Indications:

Acute and chronic intestinal amoebiasis, lambliasis, trichomoniasis, cryptosporidiosis, ...

Contraindications:

There are no contraindications for pregnant and breastfeeding women. Consult the Doctor before use.

Dosage/How to use:

Adult: 500mg daily for 6 days 

Children: 15mg/kg daily for 6 days

9. ORAL REHYDRATION SOLUTION

Sodium chloride, glucose, potassium chloride, trisodium citrate.

Indications:

Rehydration in patients with acute diarrhea, Cholera

Adult: 2-4 L  daily

Children:  10ml/kg(50-200 ml) after each loose stool.

10. SMECTA SACHET

Diosmectine 3g

Indications:

Rehydration in patients with acute diarrhea, Cholera

Dosage/How to use:

Adult:  3 sachets per day for 7 days.

Children: 4 sachets per day for 3 days, then 2 sachets per day for 4 days.

11. HELMITHOX

Film-coated tablet of 250mg 

Indications:

Acute and chronic intestinal amoebiasis, ascariasis, Ancylostomiasis, amebiasis, trichomoniasis, cryptosporidiosis, .....

Contraindications:

There are no contraindications for pregnant and breastfeeding women. Consult the Doctor before use.

Dosage/How to use:

Ascariasis/oxyuriasis:

Adult > 75kg: 4 tablets single 

Adult < 75kg: 3 tablets single 

Children>6 years: 1 tablet per 20kg as a single dose.

Ancylostomiasis:

Adult > 75kg: 8 tablets single 

Adult < 75kg: 6 tablets single 

Children>6 years: 1 tablet per 10kg as a single dose.

12. LOPAGEN CAPSULE

Loperamide hydrochloride 2mg

Indications:

Rehydration in patients with acute diarrhea, Cholera.

Contraindication:

Hypersensitivity to loperamide hydrochloride.

Dosage/How to use:

Adults:  

Acute diarrhea:4mg single dose , then 2mg after loose stool(16mg/day max )

Children:

< 6 years: Not indicated

 6-8 years: 2 mg twice daily.

8-12 years:2 mg tree times a day.
